About Cindy
About MeMy name is Cindy Martin. My husband Ricky and I have been married 25 years. When we met we already had 2 children, a boy and a girl. Together we had three, 2 boys and a girl. We have been very determined to raise all the children as one family, not seperate. They have a close bond and that is something both Ricky and I take great pride in. I thoroughly enjoyed each of my pregnancies. My only regret is that I wish I knew then what I know now. My first son was born by cesarean weighing 9lb. 11oz. My daughter was a planned cesarean weighing 9lb. 14oz. My third, our son is what I call a miracle. I had a VBAC and from onset of labor to delivery was 3 hours 40 minutes, and I had never labored before! My family is my heartbeat and being pregnant and giving birth is the most special and memorable time for a woman which is why being a doula and supporting other women is my passion. I long to educate and help women understand their options in giving birth and hopefully make it as wonderful an experience as they want it to be.My CertificationI am a certified doula through DONA International.
